As part of this emerging partnership Poker Update will officially sponsor the Media Person of the Year Award at the 1st Annual American Poker Awards, to be held in Los Angeles on February 27th, 2015. The Media Person of the Year Award is presented to the American or Canadian media person judged to have been a leading personality in poker media during the 2014 poker season.
